Cancellation Policy

We want to make sure that you and all other guests are provided with a quality experience which is both timely and professional. To ensure reliable and consistent services for all of our guests, please be aware of the following booking and appointment policies: Cell Phones Should be turned onto silent mode and put away in order to minimize distractions and potential hazards—this is especially crucial for eye and brow services, which involves the use of tweezers and adhesives around the delicate eye area, and therefore requires a great deal of focus and precision on the part of our technicians. Please be courteous and respectful of your technician’s time and work by keeping your phone on silent until you have left the session room. We reserve the right to refuse service if you use your cell phone. Every appointment has an allotted time period reserved especially for that guest, and we want you to get the most out of your appointment time. If it is your first visit, please arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes before your appointment start time in order to complete all necessary paperwork without cutting into your session time. For all returning guests, please arrive at least 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment time to check in, get situated, and be ready to go for your full allotted session time. Arriving late will cut into your session time and may result in additional charges if your appointment has to be cancelled. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your appointment time, your appointment will be cancelled. Out of respect for other guests, we cannot cut into another guest’s appointment time to make up for your lost appointment minutes if you are late. We also reserve the right to cancel future appointments for no call/ no show or just overall poor demeanour or respect. Lash Extensions are temporary. Longevity of Lash Extensions are not Guaranteed at New Moi. There is no refund for Lash Extensions, after the service has been completed, any corrections. Lash Extensions itself is very expensive and takes 1.5-2 hrs to do the application. If your extensions are lasting less than a week, it may not be right for you. The client is either not taking quality care of them, using oil skincare/ make-up products, sleeping on them, or getting them wet. Some people have oily skin on the lids, this can also contribute to longevity. It is recommended to wipe the eyelids daily, regardless if make-up was applied around the eyes, this will keep the eye area clean and sanitary and reduce dirt build up. If you wear contacts, please bring a contact case, as contacts should not be worn during the lash application process. Further, we recommend that you wait 12 to 24 hours after your service before wearing your contacts again in order to minimize potential infections or irritation to the eyes. Average Longevity is about 2-3 weeks. This is only an average. Some clients need a fill around 1-2 week intervals. If a client is strict with care it may last up to 4 weeks. Lash Extensions Longevity is random, and depends on the clients natural lash growth cycle, how well it is taken care of , and weather can also contribute to how long it may last. Fills are clients responsibility not your lash stylist. Schedule in Advance! IF more than 40% of lash extensions are detached or grown out it will be considered a Full set again, and client will pay a Full Set price to redo them. Fills are only fixing lash extensions not replacing all of them. Get adequate fills on time and schedule in advance!!! Please do not call to schedule at the last minute, most likely the schedule will be booked out about a week sometimes even further, if you need a full set again it will be charged. Clients under the age of 18 need to have their parent or legal guardian sign the consent form in advance of their appointment (can be right before the appointment begins). Unfortunately, we cannot provide services for clients under age 16 . Once the client leaves, the client will be explained how to take of them, policies and how to schedule.
